  • Distinguished Alumna Award: Carolyn Tague '80

    The Springside Alumnae Association presents this year’s Distinguished Alumnae Award to Carolyn Tague. Given to an alumna who has made a significant contribution in her field of interest and whose accomplishments have had an effect on the larger community.

    From early on, Crin wanted to be an educator. When we were 10, we formed a group which we creatively named, “Mini-School”, rounding up neighborhood children to come and read and draw with us. It was the 70’s… and many moms were happy to drop off their children for a couple of hours for free babysitting.

  • Outstanding Young Alumna Award: Nicole Allen White '04

    The Springside Alumnae Association presents this year’s Young Alumna Award to Nicole Allen White, Class of 2004. This award recognizes the achievements of alumnae who have graduated within the past 20 years and reflects a demonstrated excellence in a career or service to the community.

    Nicole received her BA from George Washington University and a JD from Drexel University. While in law school, Nicole interned with the City’s Law Department and worked in the law school’s Entrepreneurial Law Clinic.

  • Distinguished Service Award: Jennifer James McHugh '84

    The Springside Alumnae Association presents this year’s Distinguished Service Award to Jennifer James McHugh ‘84. This award recognizes an alumna or volunteer who through her or his unselfish devotion to Springside School and now SCH Academy has made an outstanding contribution to the school community.

    As a leader and professional in institutional advancement, Jenny McHugh has supported the mission of secondary education for over 25 years.  Jenny, Springside class of 1984, is a graduate of Trinity College where she earned the distinction of Presidential Fellow. She started her career in development with a successful Annual Giving program at the Baldwin School. She then brought her superior skill set to Springside School in 1997 where she has since served as Director of Development for over 20 years.  At SCH, she leads all aspects of the advancement program. Jenny’s strategic vision and institutional knowledge has run multiple successful capital campaigns, eased the transition of a merger, and implemented a seamless entrance plan of a new Head of School.
