SCH believes that embracing a diverse, inclusive community is fundamental to living out our mission and values. We are committed to making our education accessible to all students. Students pre-k to grade 12 are eligible to apply for financial aid (please note on your student's application that you would like to receive a financial aid packet).
Admission to SCH is need-blind and a completely separate process from financial aid awards. Applicants are evaluated for admission without regard to a request for aid. However, because we often admit more students that require financial aid than we are able to fund, admitted students do not always receive aid even if they qualify.
- The amount of the aid awarded is based on guidelines provided by the School and Student Services (a division of the National Association of Independent Schools), as well as the ability of the school to meet demonstrated financial need.
- Once awarded, financial aid will continue through the senior year, as long as need is demonstrated. Awards are revised and awarded annually and the Financial Aid Committee requires a PFS application and updated financial statement each year.
- Financial aid information is held strictly confidential and not shared with the faculty or students.
- All financial aid is based on need.
