Field Hockey – Girls, V

The field hockey program at SCH is deeply rooted in tradition. We believe in building the strength of our players’ character through teamwork, emphasizing the value of a strong work ethic, demonstrating sportsmanship, and fostering a positive and supportive environment for the team. 

Both the varsity and junior varsity teams focus on mastering fundamental skills while also building and developing more advanced skills and strategies for play. Players are encouraged to attend summer camps and to participate in an indoor winter league to continue their development outside of the season and each year girls compete in the National Hockey Festival. 

During the season, we face strong competition with great Inter-Ac League opponents, such as Germantown Academy, Baldwin, Episcopal, and Penn Charter, and we expect to consistently build upon our previous achievements and continue to be a competitive contender in our league.
