    The girls’ lacrosse program at SCH is one based on the core principles of dedication, integrity, and sportsmanship. Emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship is at the foundation of our program and will help our athletes thrive both on and off the field.
     
    Both the varsity and junior varsity teams focus on mastering fundamental skills while also building and developing more advanced skills and strategies for play.  

    We face strong competition with great Inter-Ac League opponents, such as Germantown Academy, Baldwin, Episcopal, and Penn Charter, and we expect to consistently build upon our previous achievements and strengthen our record within the league in the years to come.
    Coach Powell begins her first season leading the program in 2019 after assisting in 2018. Coach Powell has quite a resume, winning 3 NY state titles as a player at Yorktown HS and competing for Division I Temple at the collegiate level, She was named an All American at both the high school and NCAA levels.
     
    Coach Powell has coached at the NCAA l and lll levels at Marist, Drexel, and Penn State Abington. She currently coaches and directs Reign Lacrosse and Under Armour Philly team and the Mid Atlantic Classic team.
