Athletes of the Week Ending 9/20

The following students have been named Athletes of the Week ending September 20:

Nadia Gross '26 - Field Hockey - Nadia, a senior captain and Columbia University commit, had two assists in the Devils’ league win against a strong AIS team last week. She is a great captain, is willing and able to play just about any position on the field, and is a positive leader every day. Her hustle and work ethic are amazing, and she gets better and better every time she steps on the field! We are proud of you, Nadia! Dream Crazy!

Finley Redpath '26 & Scarlett Spector '26 - Tennis - Finley and Scarlett, playing together for the first time at #1 doubles, battled back after losing the first set to win their match in a third-set tiebreaker 11-9. Both players bounced back after the slow start, and I am excited to see what this senior duo can produce this season. Congrats to you both!

Brandon Varga '27 - Golf - Brandon shot a 39 in the Inter-Ac Invitational hosted by Penn Charter at Huntington Valley Country Club last week. He led our team for the best score, and he tied for 11th individually. His progress has been steady and impressive, and clearly shows the work he is putting in on the course and at practice. Keep it up, Brandon!

Rollins Whitten '27 & Maryn Delp '29 - Tennis - Rolly and Maryn were relentless in their determination to beat the Hill School on Saturday. They lost the first set in a tiebreaker, and they were down, but not out. They adjusted in the second set and narrowly won 6-4. The third set was a 10-point tiebreaker, and as fierce competitors, Rolly and Maryn crushed their opponents 10-6 for the win and secured an overall SCH tie 3-3 for the day vs Hill School. Great job, Rolly and Maryn!

Audrey Lane '31 - Soccer - Audrey has put in the hard work in practices, and she is now starting on the varsity backline as a result. She has been a solid defender, and her left foot has provided strength on that side of the field. With some tough opponents already this season, Audrey has been showing she is very capable and in the right spot. Great job, Audrey!

Megan McTamney '31 - Volleyball - Megan is everything a coach could ask for. Her leadership on the court, hustle in every play and positive energy have truly set the tone for the team. Her hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed. Megan was dominant in her serving and passing to help us earn our first win against EA. Keep up the good work, Megan!

Quinn Moskovitz '30 - Field Hockey - Quinn has been such a great leader for the MS field hockey team this year! She has an awesome defensive presence and works hard the entire game. Quinn is a fantastic teammate, and we can’t wait to see her continue her progress this year.

Maeve Harris '31 - Volleyball - Maeve has been a good leader for the JV volleyball team so far this year! Her energy and enthusiasm demonstrate what a positive role model should be for the team. Maeve is consistent with her serving and passing, and helped us earn our first win against EA. Great work, Maeve!
